Douglas County Board enters Bird
Sanctuary property into Country Forest Law
On May 19, 2005 the Douglas County Board passed
Resolution #48-05 entering all but 43.5 acres of the 3,011 acre County-owned
portion of the Bird Sanctuary property into Forest Law.
This is great news for lovers of the Bird Sanctuary as
it protects the property from being easily considered for use for other
purposes.
