The Friends of the Bird Sanctuary hosts its Annual Meeting on Saturday,
October 4, 2008. The meeting is part of our Annual Get-together at the
Bird Sanctuary Clubhouse which includes a Pig Roast and Silent Auction
Fundraiser.
The Bird Sanctuary Clubhouse is located in
northwest Wisconsin 3 miles south of Solon Springs on Highway 53 (or 3 miles
north of Gordon on Highway 53), west on County Road M about 3/4 mile, then
northwest on Bird Road for about 3/4 mile.
Three of the nine Board of Director positions are voted on by the
membership each year as follows (by membership category):
- Individual - one vote
- Family - two votes
- Sustaining - one vote
- Patron - one vote
Directors are elected to a three-year term, and may not serve more
than two consecutive terms. Note: only current members are eligible
to be nominated. If you have an interest in being nominated, or desire
